Annemarie passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday November 25th, 2019 at Chartwell LTC in her 89th year.
Born in Sayn, Germany, she immigrated to Canada with her husband Josef (predeceased) where they settled in Niagara Falls and raised their family. Annemarie enjoyed the outdoors and took special pride in her garden.
Proud mother of Christa (Dave), Tom (Karen) and Petra. Loving Oma to Katrina, Christopher (Devon), Eric, Andrea and special great Oma to Charlotte. She will be fondly missed by extended family and friends, especially her sisters and brother in Germany.
The family would like to thank the staff at Chartwell Kitchener for their tender care of Annemarie.
Private cremation will take place Saturday November 30 with an internment and Celebration of Life to take place in Niagara Falls on April 25, 2020.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated.
