Baljit Singh Grewal, of Oakville, ON – a beloved father, son, brother, husband and much more, but most
importantly a friend to all, passed away March 9th, 2021, at the age of 53.
He was born in Raikot, India on March 25th, 1967 to Darshan Singh Grewal and Late Manjit Kaur Grewal.
He received his education from Khalsa School, Raikot.
However, all that knew him also knew that everything practical and of tradesmanship intrigued him to a higher level. Even as a young child he would jump at the opportunity to do instead of dream. Baljit, although the third youngest of 6 siblings was a rock to his two elder brothers, and three sisters. Through all his times spent with them there was immense love.
He crossed the seas and shifted his home from India to Canada in the month and year of June 1991. He navigated his way through new territory with curiosity and ambition. Never once did he hesitate at a new opportunity, or back down from a challenge. He took even the most difficult of tasks by the wings and led a flight that amazed all those around him.
He found his life partner and best friend as he was married February 3rd, 1994 to Gurmail Kaur Grewal. They shared a special bond, being each others confidante. They rooted for each other through every step they took together. He ventured out with his brothers and together they founded LSI World in the year of 2005. Working day and night relentlessly against all hurdles, together they created an empire that now stands proud to have been a part of his legacy. He was a humble and hard worker, you could expect him to be there, no matter the place, the time, the weather. Baljit was nothing short of extraordinary, he had become somebody everybody went to with problems or concerns, in short everyone put their trust in him without hesitation and rightfully so. He will be remembered by his dedication to his family, to his job, to his friends and to making the best of life’s contentment's, no matter how small or big.
He is proceeded by his three pillars - his spouse, son and daughter. He was a tremendous father and one who looked after every need, every cut, cry, or fight. He always put the happiness of those around him before himself. He believed life was something to cherish, and something to love. Thus, he was never seen without a smile and always seen making others happy.
He will be remembered dearly, missed greatly, admired constantly, and loved for all eternity. May He
