Obituary for Daniel Charles Glazer

Glazer, Daniel Charles- Went to be with his Lord on February 1, 2021, just two months shy of his 52nd birthday.

He leaves behind the love of his life, Angela, and her three children, Owen, Sophie, and Carter. Dan showed them all how fun life can be and not a day went by where they did not see a sign of his love for them. They are forever grateful for having him around the last four years.

Dan was a loving father and his kids meant everything to him. He leaves behind Amanda, Dylan, Daniel, Shayna, Destiny, Dalton, and Larissa. They will cherish their memories of his larger than life personality and his ability to love with all his heart. He was Papa to Jayce, JayLee, Skyla, and Daniel. He was so looking forward to meeting another grandchild this summer.

He was the little brother of George, Norm, Bob, and Penni. Predeceased by his father George who was his hero, his mother Dorothy, and his sister Debbie.

Dan was born in Aylmer and loved his years on the farm. He was hoping to be able to retire to the country someday. He was always the life of the party. He made friends wherever he went and will be missed by a multitude of friends and coworkers.

Dan loved to learn and has many diplomas in various areas to prove it. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and later in life, he went back to school to learn to operate heavy machinery. He loved the smell of diesel in the morning!

His passion, though, was always the meat industry. He worked at various meat processing plants, learning different processing techniques. He used all the information he gathered to become one of the best cooks around. He loved to share his knowledge about a certain cut of meat and how it should be prepared. He would cook meals consisting only of meat and share them with everybody. Feeding people was his way of showing his love.

Dan was very clear about his final wishes. He wanted his name placed along a trail that he was so fond of walking and soon, his wish will come true. More than anything, he wanted to be cremated and he wanted Angela, Daniel, and Dalton to spread his ashes around McNarry County, Tennessee, and to make sure to spread a few at the gravesites of George Jones and Johnny Cash. We will carry out these final wishes so his soul can rest peacefully.
