Donald James Johnson Veenstra
Monday March 8 1965 - Saturday May 21 2022

It's with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Donald (Don) Johnson Veenstra of Kitchener, at the young age of 57. Loving and cherished father of three children; Austin Blackmore-Veenstra, Nicholas Blackmore-Veenstra (Brook-Lin) and Jessica Anderson. Don will be deeply missed by his twin sister Donna Waite, sister Marlene, brother Tom, Breeze, Jack, Rob, Tim, JQ and also parents Jack and Ike Veenstra. Don is predeceased by his sister Laura DaSilva and Mom Heather Johnson. Forever remembered by many nephews, nieces , first wife Janis Blackmore and close friends alike.

Don took a lot of pride in his career as a fitter welder, being an employee at Plasfab Inc for 15 years. He is remembered for his hard work, creativity and love for his family.

The family is having a visitation Sunday May 29 2022 at Kitchener Funeral Home and Crematorium.

Don's family and close friends are welcome to attend a burial service Wednesday June 1st 2022 at Woodland Cemetery in Kitchener taking place at 2:00pm.
