Elizabeth Maxwell (nee Schmearer) 

Passed away peacefully in the backyard sunshine of her best friend's home on July 21, 2022 at 70 years of age, surrounded by loved ones. Dog Mom of Benji, mother of Chris and his wife Andrea, Samantha and her husband Jeff, and Shannon and her husband Byron. Sadly missed by her granddaughter Hailey and her grandson Kaden. Unofficial "Grandma Liz" to Josh and Bryce Ziegler. She is also survived by her brother Kendall Schmearer (Alison Smith) and neice Brittany Schmidt (Dave, Brooklyn and Charlie). Predeceased by her granddaughter Aspyn, sister in law Wendy, and her parents Grace and Ken Schmearer.

A lover of hot sunny beaches, a helper, a bringer of great joy, and laughter. The warmest laugh in every room and friend to everyone.  

At Liz's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, her family asks that friends and loved ones visit a beach and dig their toes into the sand. She will be there with you.
