Obituary for Greig Michael Harrigan

Greig Michael Harrigan unexpectedly passed away on February 28th, 2022 at the age of 64.  He leaves behind the love of his life Billie, after sharing 39 wonderful years of marriage. Devoted father of Leigh (Andrew) Brunet, Laura (Mike) Brown, Cameron (Lindsey), Kellen, Brendan, Sean (Emily), and Mairead. Remembered by his grandchildren Kieran, Connor, Isla, Theodore, and Finnley. Mourned by his sister Leslie (Dalton) and brother Scott (Liz), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bobbie (nee Smith) and George.

As a life-long man of faith, Greig served on the board of directors for Ray of Hope, and supported Teen Challenge, World Vision, and many church communities. Recently retired, his career at Manulife spanned almost four decades of which he was very proud.

Family was everything to Greig and spending time with his seven children, their partners, and his grandchildren was the greatest joy of his life. We will always remember his annual Christmas games and the way he always wanted to play - waterfights, mini-golf, laser-tag, curling, and more. His dad jokes were the worst - and one of the best things we will remember about him. We are so blessed for his legacy of laughter, service, and devotion to family.
