Obituary for Harjit Singh Lamba
Harjit Singh Lamba left for heavenly abode on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the age of 63. He passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side.
Harjit was born in India to parents Late. Sardar Surinder Singh and Sardarni Jaspal Kaur on Oct 4, 1956. He moved to Canada in 1997 and worked hard to establish himself and his family in a new country. He was a loving husband, an excellent father, and a doting grandfather to his two grand-daughters. He was a devoted Sikh who lived every day of his life following the three duties of Naam Japna, Kirat Karna & Vand Chhakna! He believed in actions more than words and was always eager to lend a helping hand wherever needed. His infectious smile, genius mind, and an impeccable sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was an avid cricket lover and an outstanding cook.
He is survived by his wife, Gurvinder Kaur Lamba, and children Jasleen and Apundeep, son-in-law Gagan Singh, daughter-in-law Prableen Kaur and granddaughters, Nanki and Suhaavi.
