Our beloved Husband and Father was delivered to God on December 23rd at the age of 91.

Survived by his loving wife Devinder and daughters Anita and Bonita. He will be missed by family and friends.

Jaswant was born and raised in India. He married Devinder and went to England. He then immigrated to Canada in search of a better life for his family. He was one of the first prominent businessmen in the Sikh community and helped countless people by providing advice, guidance and support.

Jaswant was affectionately known as “John” to countless friends and acquaintances. He was the sweetest, kindest and gentlest man who always had a smile for everyone. He was the most amazing, dedicated husband and father who gave us all of his unconditional love and time.

His favourite song was Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver. He used to sing this song to his daughters during walks. His favourite activity was travelling with his family and seeing new places. He was the best part of us. We will really miss him and wonder how life will go on.

We hope to hold a celebration of his life in of 2022.

Visitation and funeral will be held at Kitchener Funeral Homes and Crematorium Inc. on Monday December 27th from 12pm to 2pm. Afterwards, service at Gurdwara Sahib Cambridge.
