Ms. Khamsing Praseuth, age 74, of Kitchener Ontario, passed away at 4pm on Sunday March 29, 2020 at the Hospice Wellington.
Khamsing was born August 12, 1946 in Savannakhet, Laos. In 1980, she moved to Kitchener Ontario, Canada
Khamsing was wonderfully devoted to her 6 Daughters; Tick, Teo, Sue, Brenda, Linda, and Jenny and her 11 grandchildren; Melody, Nicky, Amanda, Mikey, Nina, Pauline, Tracy, Austin, Ami, Ed, and Summer.
She is loved and remembered by her many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends worldwide.
Khamsing was a key member of the Lao community in Kitchener, Ontario. She will be remembered for her long devotion as a Buddhist practitioner, volunteer, and contributor to all the Lao temples in Ontario.
She enjoyed cooking, socializing with friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Khamsing was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman. She will be missed every day.
Due to the unprecedented times, a private family memorial will be held at the Kitchener Funeral Home & Crematorium on Thursday April 9, 2020.
A live footage of the memorial service will be available for viewing online starting at 11am followed by a traditional Lao ceremony at 1pm.
