It is with great sadness that announce the passing of Kirpal Kaur Lail(Bains). Predeceased by her husband Gurdev Lail, granddaughter Navpreet Lail and brother Dilbagh Bains. Survived by her children: Satwinder Lail (Manjit), Gurnek Lail, Harninder Singh Lail (Inderjit ), Gurpal Gill. Loving grandmother to Kieran Lail, Jasmine Sandhu (Kam), Sharanjit Widsten (Ben), Sandeep Lail, Harpreet Lail, Jade Lail, Manveer Lail, Simrandeep Lail, Rajveer Lail, Harveer Lail, her brother Avtar Bains, sisters Rajinder Lail and Pergas Lail and seven great grandchildren.

She was a kind and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Loved by all who knew her and had the opportunity to meet her. She was well known by the residents of the Idlewood neighbourhood, where she walked every day for almost three decades. Her strength and resilience was a consistent comfort to her family. Her courage in starting a new life in Canada to help her children and grandchildren have the best opportunities was in keeping with her dedication and devotion to her family. There was kindness and love in every aspect of her life, and she will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada or the Grand River Hospital Foundation.

A private ceremony and cremation has already taken place.
