Laurie Georgene Tuckwood passed away peacefully, at GRH in Kitchener ON, on August 24, 2022 at the age of 64. She was surrounded by her loved ones and can now rest after a courageous battle with cancer. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Mathew, mother Carol, sisters Wendy (James) and Jennifer, niece and nephews Caleb, Kirsten (Eric, Leona, Brielle), Josh (Erin), Zach (Chelsea), and partner Keith (and family). 

She has been greeted in heaven by her father George and sister Brenda.

Laurie was a person who cherished everyone and found joy in every moment of life. Her family and friends feel blessed to have had her in our lives.

Laurie's love for hockey, travel, arts and crafts, and volunteer service will live on in her memory.

Donations may be made to Grand River Cancer Center or House of Friendship, Kitchener in her remembrance. 

A private service will take place at a later date.
