Obituary for Larry Androsoff

It’s with sad hearts we announce the passing away of Lawrence (Larry) Androsoff.

He passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Roberta, and his sons Todd and his wife Pat, and Perry and his wife Stephanie.

Larry was born and raised in Marcelin, Saskatchewan.  He later moved to Saskatoon and for 49 1/2 years worked as a barber.  Being deaf, he was known affectionately as the “Silent Barber”.  Besides being a loving husband and father to his children, he also enjoyed many different sports.

His greatest love was when he came to know about his loving God, Jehovah. That relationship guided him through the rest of his life and gave him much joy and happiness.  For the past eight years he and his wife, Roberta, have been living in Cambridge, Ontario and have been busy with volunteer work assisting the deaf community to know the Bible and draw close to God.

Larry is predeceased by his parents, Peter and Tena Androsoff, and his sister Florence Knight (Androsoff).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 400 Ellis Road, Cambridge, Ontario.
