Obituary for Lit Houmphavong (Lattanaphakdy)
The Houmphavong family, the Vongsouphath family and other family relatives sadly share their great loss of a strong, selfless, inspiring woman, mom, grandmother and friend. It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Lit Houmphavong.
Surrounded by her children's love, she passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Saturday October 17, 2020 at 4:00 pm. At the age of 84 years and 5 months old, she succumbed to her illness and passed away at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario.
Mrs. Lit Houmphavong was the cherished mother of 7 children, 5 sons and 2 daughters, treasured grandmother and great-grandmother to many. Survived by two brothers and in-laws, she will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends that will cherish her forever.
