Our beloved mother Lucy passed away peacefully in her sleep at Grandriver Hospital on December 6th 2022. Lucy was born in St. Georges Newfoundland 75 years ago, and was the daughter of the late Marion (Colombe) and William Barry. 

Lovingly cherished by her children Tracy Randell, Lori Bennett, Leonard "Sonny" Bennett, Aston "Chad" Bennett and Alec Jones, Marion "Susie" Bennett and Chris Hale. 

Sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren Sydney, Chelsea, Cassidy, Colton, Selena, Cheyenne, Skyler, Steven, Raven, Courtney, Justin, Jermaine and her 8 great grandchildren Mia, Liam, Davaughn, Kingston, Bently, Hunter, Avery, Nevaeh.

Lucy will be greatly missed by her siblings Billy and Jessie Barry, Ronnie and Donna Barry, Suzanne Barry, Kevin and Alicia Barry. Along with many nieces and nephews.

Lucy was fierce and passionate when it came to her family and close friends, always ensuring everyone was taken care of. A true believer of selflessness and forgiveness. A woman full of jokes, wit, class and sass. She would support anyone through the good times and the bad alike. Her door was always open, her home always welcoming, and mother to all. 

Family and friends are invited to join the celebration of life on Sunday, December 11th 2022 at 55 Appalachian Cr. Kitchener from 1pm - 4pm
